Nate Robinson Pukes on Bench As Bulls Lose Without Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich, Derrick Rose (Video)

Word was that the Bulls were battling the flu Thursday night when they tried to wrap up their series against the Nets in Chicago. Those rumors appear to be true.

Nate Robinson, who is taking care of a lot of backcourt duties with Derrick Rose eternally out and Kirk Hinrich fighting a calf injury, took the court Thursday despite feeling queasy. (Teammate Luol Deng reportedly had the flu so bad that he was sent home.) Late in the third quarter, though, the illness caught up with Robinson, as cameras caught him covering his face with a towel and doing the old heave-ho on the bench.

The Nets ended up winning 95-92, sending the series back to Brooklyn and only furthering the debate over whether Rose, who has yet to come back from his ACL injury, should be taking the court whether he thinks he’s at full strength or not.
