Chicago Blackhawks Selling Melted Ice From 2013 Stanley Cup Season Played at United Center (Video)

The Chicago Blackhawks are having what some might call a “liquidation” sale.

After the team’s record-breaking, Stanley-Cup-winning 2013 season, the last layer of ice was removed from the United Center floor, melted down and put into vials. Those vials will soon be available for diehard Blackhawks fans to purchase, attach to a string and wear around their necks. Or, whatever you would do with that kind of sports memorabilia.

The team hasn’t yet disclosed how much the vials of dirty water will go for, but according to the team’s website they are producing a very limited number of packages. Proceeds from the sale will go to Chicago Blackhawks Charities.
