Yoenis Cespedes’ Batting Practice Will Be Open to Fans Every Friday Rest of Season, Oakland A’s to Open Gates Early

Yoenis Cespedes put on an absolute show in winning the Home Run Derby on Monday night, but if you happened to miss it, you may just be able to see the outfielder put on a clinic at O.co Coliseum in the upcoming weeks.

The Oakland Athletics will be opening up their gates an hour earlier than normal every Friday for the rest of the season so fans can see Cespedes’ batting practice, according to Jane Lee of MLB.com

Cespedes edged out Bryce Harper in the final round of the Derby 9-8 after launching 17 homers in the first round. Cespedes is said to put on impressive showings during BP, leading Robinson Cano to select him for the Derby even though Cespedes wasn’t named an All-Star.
