Brian WilsonBrian Wilson likes his whiskers, but he may like a clean million a little bit more.

The reliever, recently back in Major League Baseball after signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers, stands to make more than $1 million if he shaves his trademark beard, according to RadarOnline.com.

The interested company, 800Razors.com, wants Wilson to be the “brand ambassador” of its product. But Wilson’s camp is saying that such a deal would require 800Razors.com to offer as much as his current baseball salary, if not more.

“His management feels we need to match his present salary of $1 million at a minimum,” 800Razors.com president Philip Masiello said, according to Radar Online.

Masiello said Wilson and the company have been working out the final deals for the beard shaving and endorsement.

“His beard is iconic,” Masiello said. “We are in the quality razor industry and want to partner with other shaving icons to show how great our product is. If it can tackle shaving a beard like this, it can work wonders on the average man.”

Just like a million bucks could work wonders on the average pitcher.
