Lawrence Taylor Rips Boomer Esiason for Recent Comments About Him in Expletive-Laden Rant

Lawrence Taylor never liked quarterbacks during his playing days. He still doesn’t like Boomer Esiason.

Taylor and Esiason have a longstanding feud and apparent general distaste for one another. So, when Esiason added some commentary about Taylor’s life and playing career in a recent documentary on Showtime, the Hall of Fame linebacker didn’t take too kindly.

“What the hell you got Boomer Esiason on something that — a piece you do of me?” Taylor said during an interview on 640 WMEN radio in New York, compiled by Pro Football Talk. “We can’t stand each other, he don’t know a [expletive] about me.  What the hell’s he doing on it?”

In the interview, Esiason, who never played on the same team with Taylor during his 14-year NFL career, reiterated the longstanding belief that Bill Parcells and the Giants gave Taylor a much longer leash, even considering his often questionable off-field endeavors. Taylor retorted with some of his own choice thoughts about Esiason, questioning his own off-field behavior.

“First of all, Boomer’s a d—head,” Taylor added.  “Hey, listen.  I remember when he was there running the streets, screwing all kind of [women]. Don’t give me that holier than thou [expletive].  I don’t wanna hear that [expletive]. . .  He gets off on it.  He’s still talking about me.  I ain’t talking about him.”

Whatever prompted the initial beef between LT and Boomer, it’s clear that even some years later there is still no love lost between the two.
