Report: Matthew Slater’s Broken Wrist to Sideline Patriots Special Teams Captain for Four to Six Weeks

The injuries keep coming for the Patriots.

Special teams captain Matthew Slater, who was reported to have a broken wrist Monday, will be out four to six weeks with the injury, Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald reports.

Slater is also on the roster as a wide receiver, but he’s played almost exclusively on special teams with New England.

The Patriots are already without offensive weapons Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola and Shane Vereen, among others.
