Bruins Acquire Defenseman Blake Parlett From Blue Jackets For Carter Camper

Providence Bruins forward Carter Camper is heading to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

On Friday, the B’s acquired defenseman Blake Parlett in exchange for the 25-year-old Camper, who has eight goals and 23 assists in 41 games this season with the P-Bruins. During the 2011-12 season, Camper played in three games with the Bruins, registering one goal.

Parlett, 24, has four goals and 14 helpers to go with 22 PIMs and a minus-3 rating in 37 games with the Springfield Falcons this season.

The undrafted, 6-foot-1 Ontario native was part of the 2013 Rangers-Blue Jackets trade that sent Steven Delisle and Marian Gaborik to Columbus in exchange for Derick Brassard, Derek Dorsett, John Moore and a sixth-round pick.
