Britt had previously visited with the New England Patriots, but left town without a deal. Team owner Robert Kraft said last week that the Patriots wouldn’t sign the wide receiver.

Now, Britt is set to rejoin his former head coach Jeff Fisher in St. Louis. Fisher was the head coach of the Titans in 2010, Britt’s second year in the NFL. It should prove interesting to see if their familiarity will work in the Rams’ favor.

Britt collected 2,450 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns during his tenure with the Titans.

The Rams also signed veteran quarterback Shaun Hill to serve as a backup for returning starter Sam Bradford after previous second-stringer Kellen Clemens departed for San Diego.
