Rajon Rondo Receives Warning From NBA For Embarrassing Flop (Video)

Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is one of the most competitive and hard-working players in the NBA, which is why his embarrassing flop during Wednesday night’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks was a bit surprising.

Late in the fourth quarter, Hawks guard Jeff Teague drove to the hoop and, as he approached Rondo, passed the ball to a teammate in the paint, who then kicked it out to the 3-point line, where Kyle Korver was waiting to shoot. When Teague got close to Rondo, the Celtics guard went down to the floor despite not being touched.

Rondo’s attempt to draw a charge failed, and he received a flop warning from the NBA on Thursday, The Boston Globe reported.
