The Boston Bruins nearly entered the second intermission down three goals in Tuesday night’s Game 3 of the conference semifinals against the Montreal Canadiens.

Patrice Bergeron scored at 17:48 of the second period to get the Bruins on the scoreboard and trim the Canadiens’ advantage to 3-1. After winning an offensive-zone faceoff, Bergeron went to the net and deflected a shot from the point by Torey Krug with a perfect tip.

It’s Bergeron’s second goal of the series and third of the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs.
