Tuukka Rask took to the airwaves Tuesday to support a good cause, but he might irk some Boston Bruins fans with an accidental mix-up he made on the air.

Rask joined the NESN broadcast team in studio during the 2014 Jimmy Fund Radio Telethon, and the topic inevitably turned to the Bruins’ season outlook in 2014.

The 2014 Vezina Trophy winner was asked about the team’s depth between the pipes, so naturally he made mention of Malcolm Subban, Boston’s first-round draft pick in 2012.

The only problem? Rask referred to him as Malcolm’s brother, P.K. Subban, the Montreal Canadiens defenseman who has become quite the polarizing figure in Boston since the two teams clashed in the Stanley Cup Playoffs earlier this year.

Rask quickly recovered, explaining that he met P.K. at the NHL Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas and adding that seems like a “nice guy.” Whatever you say, Tuukka.

The Bruins goalie also got in a good shot at former Bruin Shawn Thornton, saying that he’d drop the gloves against his former teammate “if he ever gets on the ice against us.”
