Teague jetNike and Teague, a design firm based out of Seattle, have combined on a project that could make road trips far more enjoyable for professional athletes.

A stylish, innovative private jet will utilize space to make for a far more comfortable interior, according to Wired. A standard jet typically holds 100-400 passengers, but Nike and Teague’s design caters to the size of a team’s roster, as well as to the size of the athletes themselves.

Instead of rows of unused seats, the jet’s space would be filled with several “zones” designated for functions such as sleep, socializing, nutrition and recovery. Also, the height and width of the aisles would be made to accommodate even the tallest of NBA centers and the widest of NFL linemen.

After victories, there is a spot specifically designed for socializing and celebration under the seating area, where cargo is usually stored. After a loss, the recovery zone could make the trip a bit more tolerable by offering massages.

The cabin consists of other innovations, including in-flight entertainment systems, a leg sleeve designed by Teague to help circulation, and advanced urinals that measure hydration levels and notify players when they need more fluids.

There is no word on when this high-tech jet will be available for professional sports teams, but the idea of having countless innovations and capabilities at their disposal is something that should excite athletes for their future road trips.
