Wil Myers isn’t bitter.
The outfielder, whom the Kansas City Royals traded to the Tampa Bay Rays before the 2013 season, tweeted congratulations to his former organization Wednesday night after it defeated the Baltimore Orioles in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series to earn its first World Series berth since 1985.

Myers, once a top prospect in the Royals’ organization, was a centerpiece in the deal that landed Kansas City its ace, James Shields, and Wade Davis, who has been absolutely dominant for K.C. since converting from a starter into a reliever.
