Randall Cobb’s Absurd Catch Gives Aaron Rodgers Six First-Half TDs (GIF)

Ben Roethlisberger, you just got put on notice.

A week after the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback threw for six touchdowns for the second straight game, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers accomplished the same feat. In the first half.

Through 30 minutes of play against the Chicago Bears on Sunday night, Rodgers threw for 315 yards and six touchdowns, tying Daryle Lamonica for the most TD passes thrown in a half.

Rodgers’ record-tying score, an 18-yard strike to wide receiver Randall Cobb, was an absolute thing of beauty.

The Packers quarterback made sure he spread the wealth, tossing two touchdown bombs to Jordy Nelson, finding Eddie Lacy on a screen pass, and hooking up with tight ends Brandon Bostick and Andrew Quarless for his other five scores.

Here’s what Rodgers thinks about absurd first-half performance. We agree, Aaron.
