Geno Smith Gets Punched In Head, Massive Jets-Titans Brawl Ensues (Video)

The New York Jets and Tennessee Titans don’t have a shot at making the playoffs, but at least they’re keeping things interesting.

After completing a long pass to Eric Decker in the third quarter Sunday, Geno Smith got into a little jawing match with Titans defensive lineman Jurrell Casey. Apparently Casey didn’t like what he heard, because he gave the Jets quarterback a nice punch in the noggin.

Smith’s teammates quickly came to his defense, and the brawl was on.

Amazingly, Casey was the only player flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play. No player from either team was ejected for their role in the melee — not even Jets center Nick Mangold, who came storming onto the field without his helmet on to get in on the action.

Maybe the refs already felt bad enough for Smith and the 2-11 Jets.
