Devon Still: No Sign Of Cancer In Daughter Leah After Initial Tests (Photo)

Devon Still and his 4-year-old daughter Leah captured the nation back in September when the Cincinnati Bengals signed him to their practice squad after cutting him so he’d retain his health insurance to cover Leah’s cancer treatments.

On Tuesday, the defensive tackle had great news.

Initial scans came back negative for any signs of the disease in Leah, who was diagnosed with stage 4 pediatric cancer in June. Still posted the update to Instagram, along with a photo of them looking downright elated.

That moment you get the best news you've ever received and don't know what to do so you just flex!! We got Leah's MIBG Scans back tonight and the doctors told us they didn't see any active disease in her body!!! We still have to wait for her MRI and bone biopsy results later this week. As Still says in his post, Leah still has to wait on the results of an MRI and a bone biopsy before she officially can be declared cancer-free, but things certainly are looking up.
