Tiger Woods not only is endangering his world golf ranking every time he steps on the course, he’s now putting fans at risk, too.
The former world No. 1 (getting harder and harder to believe) already is off to a wretched start this weekend at the Quicken Loans National in Gainesville, Va. Woods started his first round with a bogey, and things didn’t get any better.
Woods’ second shot at the par-5 fifth hole was an aggressive one. He went at the green and actually put it in the neighborhood. So close to the green, in fact, that it hit a fan standing next to it.

Miraculously, Woods was able to channel his old self and make birdie.
