Liverpool hosts Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday at Anfield. The game pits the top team in the Premier League against one that hopes to gain ground on its rivals for a top-four finish. We forgive casual viewers for thinking Liverpool is the former and Leicester City the latter.
The momentum Liverpool built up in the aftermath of Jurgen Klopp’s early October arrival as manager seems to have subsided. The Reds have lost two of their last three Premier League games and drawn the other.
Leicester City’s unlikeliest of assaults on the Premier League title continues apace. Claudio Ranieri’s team is unbeaten in 10 games and hasn’t lost on the road in 13 (since March).
