Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams, the top players on the men’s and women’s brackets, respectively, reached the final of the 2016 Australian Open with semifinals wins Thursday.
Djokovic beat rival Roger Federer in four sets: 6-1, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. It was Djokovic’s 23rd career win against the greatest Grand Slam singles champion of all-time.

Djokovic will play Andy Murray or Milos Raonic in Sunday’s men’s final. If Djokovic wins, it’ll be his 11th Grand Slam singles title and his fifth Australian Open championship in the last six years. Djokovic entered this tournament with five Aussie Open titles in his career.

Williams defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in straight sets: 6-0, 6-4. The 22-time champion will defend her Australian Open crown Saturday against the winner of the semifinal matchup between Angelique Kerber and Johanna Konta.
