Can Cinderella do it again? Middle Tennessee State fans certainly hope so.
The Blue Raiders made this year’s NCAA Tournament as a No. 15 seed and had to face No. 2 seed Michigan State, seemingly a surefire bet to make a deep run, in the first round. But, to almost everyone’s surprise, Middle Tennessee led from start to finish en route to a stunning 90-81 win over the Spartans.
The Blue Raiders won’t get much rest, though, as they face the No. 10 seed Syracuse Orange on Sunday night with a berth in the Sweet 16 on the line.
