We’re not sure if Tyler Lydon is a Kenny Chesney fan, but he’s now an honorary member of “No Shoes Nation” regardless.

The Syracuse rookie has had quite the experience in his first NCAA Tournament thanks to the No. 10 seed Orange’s run to the Elite Eight, but we’re guessing his shoeless shot Sunday night against the No. 1 seed Virginia Cavaliers quickly rose to the top.

“There’s been times when you’re done with practice, you’re a little kid in AAU and you go out in your socks, you slide around shooting the ball or whatever,” Lydon told reporters after the game, per Syracuse.com. “But I’ve never done it in a game.”

No shoes, no shirt, no problems.

Well, maybe just the shoe part for Lydon. Hopefully he remembers both shoes for the Final Four, though, after Syracuse’s 68-62 win over Virginia.
