Villanova Buzzer-Beater Made Charles Barkley Dance Like No One Was Watching

Charles Barkley is an Auburn alum, but he was a Villanova guy for the NCAA Tournament.

The Hall of Famer served as analyst for TNT’s tournament coverage, but he didn’t hide his rooting interests. The Round Mound of Rebound made it clear he was pulling for the Wildcats because his daughter went to Villanova. That’s probably just one of a few connections to the Philadelphia-area school for Barkley, who spent eight of his incredible NBA seasons with the 76ers.

So Barkley obviously was very invested in Monday night’s national championship for more than just work reasons. So when ‘Nova won the tournament with a buzzer-beater for the ages, Barkley did what any Wildcat fan did — he celebrated. Hard.

What a video. Not only do you get the history-making shot in the background, but you get Sir Charles dancing like a madman. You can’t help but feel bad for fellow TNT analyst Kenny Smith, who, you guessed it, is a North Carolina alum.
