J.J. Watt Reportedly Undergoes Back Surgery, Faces 6-8 Week Recovery
J.J. Watt’s training camp might never start, but chances still are high he’ll be ready for Week 1.
The Houston Texans defensive end recently had surgery on his back, according to the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain. And although the surgery comes just days before the start of training camp, McClain reports Watt isn’t expected to miss any of the regular season.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport revealed even more information Thursday on Watt’s surgery.
It appears the doctors caught this back ailment just in time.
