ORIGINAL STORY: San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen missed a good chunk of last season with a spleen injury, and he might miss more time in 2016 after he suffered an apparent right knee injury Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Allen had six receptions for 66 yards before leaving the game. He was expected to feature as the top receiver in what many people expect to be a high-scoring Chargers offense.
Free-agent signee Travis Benjamin would become San Diego’s No. 1 receiver if Allen misses any games.
