Chad Kelly took two losses Monday night.
The Ole Miss quarterback threw for 319 yards and four touchdowns against Florida State, but his three interceptions proved costly in the 11th-ranked Rebels’ 45-34 loss to the No. 4 Seminoles. Adding insult to injury was adult film star Mia Khalifa, a noted Seminoles fan, who revealed a direct-message conversation initiated by Kelly, and tweeted this message to the QB: “Shoulda spent more time in your playbook and less time in my DM’s.”
Kelly, the nephew of Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly, evidently was embarrassed enough to delete his Twitter account, according to multiple outlets, but no salve can sooth that savage burn from Khalifa, who did something similar to then-Buffalo Bills safety Duke Williams last year.
