Odell Beckham Jr.’s journey toward self-enrichment has taken a step in the right direction.
The New York Giants wide receiver made peace with one of his recent foes during the Giants’ 23-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night — and no, it wasn’t with a cornerback.
After scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter, Beckham gave a hug and a kiss to a kicking net on the sidelines.

This comes after Beckham and a kicking net had a little scuffle during Week 3 when the Giants lost to the Washington Redskins. Beckham punched the net only to have it strike back and fall on his head in retaliation.
Well, it appears Beckham and the net have patched things up.
“We hugged it out,” Beckham told reporters after the game, via CBS New York. “Last time I hit him, he hit me back. I told him it was a good hit. I said, ‘From now on we can be friends.'”
This is certainly a happy ending for a man who’s been surrounded by negative headlines over the last few weeks.
