With the Tampa Bay Rays in town to take on the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Sunday, there were plenty of players worried about family back home in Florida during Hurricane Irma.

That included Red Sox players, too, as many of them have homes in Southern Florida because of their spring training facility in Fort Myers. Catcher Sandy Leon was one of those players, and he has the added concern that his wife, Liliana, wasn’t able to evacuate because she’s eight months pregnant.

Hear what Leon had to say about his wife and the rest of his family in the video from NESN’s “Red Sox First Pitch” above.
