The No. 5 vs. No. 12 matchups of the NCAA Tournament always seem to have upset potential, so you’ll want to pay attention Friday when West Virginia tries to fend off Cinderella hopeful Murray State in a first-round game at Viejas Arena in San Diego.
West Virginia, which was ranked No. 2 in the nation at one point this season, will put its “Press Virginia” philosophy to the test against a Murray State team that’s won 13 straight games.
The Mountaineers are no strangers to the Big Dance, and this figures to be one of Bob Huggins’ most talented teams to date. The Racers, who are in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2012, are hot at the right time, though, so we could be in for a rock fight.
The West Virginia vs. Murray State game will air on TNT, and here’s how to watch it online.
When: Friday, March 17, at 4 p.m. ET
