Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s Primary Sponsors Sign Through 2021 NASCAR Season

Security is extremely important to a NASCAR driver, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will have it for the foreseeable future.

Roush Fenway Racing on Tuesday announced a deal that ensures Stenhouse and the No. 17 team will be a sponsored RFR outfit through the 2021 season. Fastenal will continue to serve as anchor sponsor for the No. 17 Ford Fusion, while SunnyD and Fifth Third Bank will remain primary sponsors that play “major” roles with the team.

RFR also announced that Fastenal will increase its number of primary races with Stenhouse.

“We are pleased to announce that each of our three primary partners on the No. 17 have signed on with the program through the 2021 season,” Roush Fenway president Steve Newmark said in a statement. ” … Strong partners are the foundation to the success of any NASCAR team and we believe we have the best in the sport.

“Every employee of Roush Fenway recognizes what these companies do for us, on and off the track, and we’re honored to have all three of these top-level brands committed to our program for many years to come.”

Fastenal has served as Stenhouse’s anchor sponsor since the 2015 season. The industrial supplies company first joined RFR in 2010 as primary sponsor for Carl Edwards and the No. 60 NASCAR Xfinity Series team.

Fifth Third Bank first teamed with Stenhouse in 2013, and SunnyD came on board in 2016.
