NFL Opt-Out Tracker: These Players Will Not Play In 2020 Season

The 2020 NFL season, as of now, will go on as scheduled, but not all of the league’s players will be taking part in the upcoming campaign.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 53 players have opted out of the 2020 season due to concerns regarding the coronavirus pandemic. The New England Patriots currently lead the NFL with eight opt-outs, including five key contributors from a season ago. Twenty-seven of the 32 franchises have had at least one player opt out.

Players will have until 4 p.m. ET on Thursday to make a decision on their 2020 status. Below is a list of players who have decided to opt out, which will be updated through the deadline.
