Conventional wisdom says one thing, but the numbers tell an entirely different story.
Boston Sports Info on Thursday shared a graphic showing all of the Boston athletes with the base salaries higher than the $1,050,000 Newton will make this season with the New England Patriots. Among the players who rank ahead of Newton — the 2015 MVP — are Carsen Edwards and Cody Davis.
