NBA Rumors: Former Celtics Center Tacko Fall Signs With Cavaliers

Tacko Time takes Cleveland

Tacko Fall was a beloved two-way player on the Boston Celtics in the two years he’s spent in the NBA thus far.

And it looks like he has a chance to extend his career a bit in Cleveland.

The Cavaliers on Tuesday reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with the 7-foot-5 big man who lit up March Madness at University of Central Florida before the Celtics signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2019.

Fall averaged 2.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 19 games played with the Celtics last season, with COVID-19 canceling the G-League season. Unfortunately, his improvement still didn’t show promise that he’d develop into an impactful NBA player, but the Cavaliers look willing to extend the experiment.

Still, you love to see it. Fall is a good guy who you wish the best for. Especially now that he’s not taking up a two-way roster spot with Boston.

Goodbye to the Maine Celtics legend.
