All of the rumors, whispers, news, analysis and predictions will mean nothing Thursday night when the 2025 NFL Draft begins.

Until then, though, we could have a wild day on tap as teams jockey for final positioning ahead of Thursday night’s first round in Green Bay. Follow all the latest news, rumors and more in the tracker below.

7:50 p.m.: It looks like there is a movement on a possible Cleveland Browns-Jacksonville Jaguars trade. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported that the “trade looks like it could go down and talks are happening” as the Jaguars try to move from No. 5 to No. 2.

7:20 p.m.: Things are really started to heat up less than an hour before the draft commences. A source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter to “expect explosives” within the top 10 picks.

6:58 p.m.: The Athletic’s Jeff Howe reported the Jacksonville Jaguars “have been actively trying to move up from No. 5.” Howe noted the Jaguars could be interested in moving up to the Cleveland Browns’ No. 2 overall selection, presumably to draft Travis Hunter.

6:30 p.m.: The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported the Chicago Bears are looking to trade up from No. 10, and they reportedly are targeting Ashton Jeanty. That could make the Patriots a trade candidate for the Bears.

4:10 p.m.: So there might be some real truth to the idea that the Bears are going to trade up (presumably to take Ashton Jeanty). Mel Kiper Jr., as noted earlier, thought Jeanty was on the radar at No. 5 for the Jaguars, but they might instead be targeting the other player Kiper mentioned: receiver Tet McMillan.

According to CBS Sports’ Aditi Kinkhabwala, the Jaguars are in on McMillan and apparently think they can get him at No. 10.

2:50 p.m.: ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler just gave a pretty significant update regarding the Patriots and LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell. According to Fowler, the Patriots recently traveled to Louisiana to meet with Campbell, a revelation that only strengthens the belief New England will take him at No. 4.

1:40 p.m.: A couple of noteworthy pieces of information from NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, who joined Rich Eisen’s radio show a little earlier in the day.

According to Rapoport, Travis Hunter is the most likely pick at No. 2. Cleveland is still the most likely to make that pick. However, Rapoport indicated the Jacksonville Jaguars are a team to watch if the Browns end up dealing the pick.

At No. 3, Rapoport claims the Giants could still take Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. The Sanders storyline is probably the most intriguing of the first round. There are analysts and insiders who believe he could go as high as No. 3 or he could fall into the second round.

11:50 a.m.: If you’re looking for a fast riser, especially at the quarterback position, look no further than Jaxson Dart. According to CBS Sports reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala, the Ole Miss signal-caller is not expected to fall out of the top 10. He could be the pick for the Saints at No. 9, as New Orleans waits for more information about Derek Carr’s shoulder.

11:40 a.m.: Here’s a potentially noteworthy tidbit from longtime NFL draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. at ESPN.com. He says the Jaguars, who were previously linked to Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham, are instead expected to go offense under new head coach Liam Coen.

Many, including the sportsbooks, believe the pick will be Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty (-245 favorite to go No. 5 at DraftKings). However, Kiper also mentions Arizona receiver Tetairoa McMillan in that spot, too; McMillan is 6-1 to be taken at that spot.

“I’ve heard McMillan compared to Mike Evans, who played for Coen in Tampa Bay,” Kiper wrote for ESPN.com.

10:55 a.m.: If the Patriots aren’t actually in love with Will Campbell at No. 4, it would make sense to explore the trade market. The nature of this particular draft might make that more difficult than years past — unless maybe you’re talking about deals like the aforementioned Raiders swap for two spots. New England reportedly will listen, though.

According to Mike Giardi of Boston Sports Journal, the offers aren’t what they’re looking for … at least not yet.

“On that front, the Pats have received some calls, but from what I can gather, nothing that would prompt them to move. A league source informed me that at least one of those teams wanted to know what it would take to move up to (No. ) 4, but only if a specific player remained on the board.”

10:30 a.m.: Interesting idea from the Boston Herald’s Andrew Callahan, who is tapped in when it comes to the Patriots. He released his mock draft, and he has New England drafting LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell … at No. 6.

“Despite moving back two spots,” Callahan writes, “Mike Vrabel still gets his man. Campbell is a hand-in-glove fit for Vrabel’s culture, and the Patriots’ most pressing team need at left tackle, even if his remarkably short wingspan might ultimately force a move inside to guard at the NFL level.”

What’s unclear is what the Patriots would get in such a trade. According to one draft value chart, there’s about a 200-point difference between the No. 4 and No. 6 pick, which is roughly equivalent to a mid-third-round pick.

10 a.m.: Dane Brugler is a respected name in the NFL draft world for his tireless work. He released his final mock draft Thursday morning. There are a couple of interesting wrinkles, including one whopper — or at least it would be a whopper if you made the prediction a month or two ago.

Brugler has Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders falling out of the first round entirely. Not only that, Brugler has the Giants taking Abdul Carter with the No. 3 pick before trading back into the first round — with the Rams at No. 26 — to take Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

9:40 a.m.: One minor thing from NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, who in a “Fact or fiction” segment Thursday morning predicted there will be a trade into the top 10 at some point.

“This is going to be a weird and wild draft for a variety of reasons and there’s going to be some player probably one player that’s going to slip through to 8 or 9 … and someone’s like I’ve gotta go up and get them. Maybe just a couple of quick spots, but I do believe we’ll see a trade (into) the top 10.”

9:30 a.m. ET: As the NFL world shakes off the draft eve cobwebs, it appears the Denver Broncos are going to be a team to monitor Thursday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Denver has taken calls from teams interested in trading up for the Broncos’ No. 20 pick.

Quite frankly, as we write that out, there’s really not much to that report. At this point in the process, every team should probably be looking at what’s on the table, and there’s nothing inherently special about the 20th pick in this draft. But hey, it’s something.
