Ronda Rousey kept her promise to Jarrod Haschert by attending the Marine Corps Ball on Friday night, and it appears she had an awesome time doing so.
Haschert’s video asking Rousey to attend this year’s ball with him went viral back in August, and the former UFC bantamweight champion accepted his proposal a few days later. However, her attendance seemingly was in doubt following her stunning loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193. But Rousey still kept her promise.
“It’s an honor to be asked,” Rousey told TMZ Sports. “Honestly, I’d probably stay on my couch, crying and eating ice cream if he hadn’t asked me. So it’s probably a good thing.”
