Globetrotters Perform For J.D. Drew in Florida, Come to Boston in March Terry Francona might want to watch out for a bucket of confetti this season, because the Harlem Globetrotters will be shipping up to Boston.

The basketball showmen are in the Sunshine State this week, and Red Sox right fielder J.D. Drew caught one of their games at the Germain Arena in Estero, Fla., on Wednesday. While the famous traveling hoops team may not be able help Drew raise his OPS or find some opposite-field power, they were able to show him some dribbling tricks as he watched courtside with his family.

Handles Franklin, Bones Millien, Slick Willie Shaw, Bull Bullard and the rest of the Globetrotters will be at the TD Garden March 27-28.

Anyone from outside of the Boston also can get a shot to see the Globetrotters when they come through town. Check their schedule to find out when.
