Has Carlos Beltran Played His Last Home Game As a Met? Flyout to right.

That could be outfielder Carlos Beltran's last memory playing a home game as a New York Met.

The slugger gaining most of the attention heading into the MLB trade deadline, Beltran has been rumored to be heading everywhere from Boston to Pittsburgh to Philadelphia to San Fransisco. But rumors, while exciting for fans at this time of year, aren't always true.

Beltran and the Mets wrapped up a home stand on Thursday afternoon before taking off for a 10-game road trip which wraps up in the nation's capital on July 31 — the same day as the deadline. That means that Beltran, who went 0-for-3 with a walk during Thursday's defeat at Citi Field, could be donning a new uniform by the time the Amazins return on Aug. 1.

Beltran's 0-fer day at the plate dropped his average down to .290. He heads into the road trip with 15 homers, 61 RBIs and a league-most 30 doubles.
