Jack Edwards to Raise Money for Pan-Mass Challenge During Cycling Event on April 1Jack Edwards is a dedicated announcer for the Boston Bruins, as many around New England are well aware. But the eccentric voice of the B’s is also an extremely dedicated participant in the annual Pan-Mass Challenge.

Edwards, who is set to ride the Challenge with the Bruins team in August, will ride four 45-minute indoor cycling sessions at the Inner Circle, 377 Cabot St. in Beverly, on April 1 to help raise money for the Pan-Mass Challenge.

The event offers space enough for 72 indoor cyclists to ride alongside Edwards during the day. The minimum fundraising to participate is $50 per session and each cyclist will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a signed photo of the entire Bruins team after their Stanely Cup win, specially framed with pieces of a Bruins hockey net.

The Pan-Mass organization was founded in 1980 and has since raised $338 million for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund. The Pan-Mass Challenge donates 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar directly to the cause. In 2011, the PMC generated 52 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue and was Dana-Farber’s single largest contributor.

For more information, or to reserve time slots visit The Inner Circle’s website or call (978) 578-2358.
