If there are two things Bostonians can count on, it’s successful sports teams and mayor Thomas Menino unsuccessfully praising its players.
On Wednesday, Menino referred to Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo as “KJ” and “Hondo.”
“There’s a lot of heart in this team, let me just tell you,” Menino said. “KJ is great but Hondo is really the inspiration. Hondo drives that team.”
On Thursday, Menino tweeted (yes, he has Twitter) his apology for the mix-up, which can be seen below.
