Based with the Miami Dolphins for the upcoming season, the show seemed to be headed for one of its more bland years — it certainly wouldn't compare with Rex Ryan and the Jets. But the addition of polarizing wide receiver and reality TV aficionado Chad Ochocinco on Monday definitely added some intrigue to the series.
The NHL has followed suit with another HBO produced behind-the-scenes series called 24/7. The NHL version of the show has also drawn rave reviews from both fans and general reality TV fanatics alike.
The obsession with reality sports shows prompted thoughts of having a Boston franchise featured on of these shows in the near future and got us thinking which would be most entertaining.
Imagine Rob Gronkowski on the practice field during Patriots camp, or Brad Marchand talking smack to guys before games on 24/7. David Ortiz could be a blast to watch on a daily basis in the Red Sox clubhouse, and Doc Rivers would certainly make things entertaining for the Celtics.
