Don Cherry Weighs In on John Farrell’s Departure, Hopes Blue Jays’ Next Manager Isn’t ‘Some Pitching Coach’

Don Cherry doesn't have his beloved hockey to talk about right now with the NHL lockout in full swing, so he's left to opine about the Toronto Blue Jays.

The longtime NHL coach turned TV celebrity for his work on Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts, Cherry's latest rant has to do with the Toronto Blue Jays' managerial situation.

After John Farrell was released from his contract one year before the deal's end in order to join the Red Sox, Cherry has some suggestions for the Jays in their quest for a new skipper.

Here's what he had to say via Twitter on Monday.
