The Rams didn't cause too much of a problem for the Patriots on Sunday, but the same can't be said for Hurricane Sandy.
As the big storm slams into the northeast region of the United States, the Patriots are stuck across the pond, apparently unable to leave London due to the inclement weather, according to WHDH-TV in Boston. Fortunately for Bill Belichick's bunch, they're going into a bye week, so the delay will do little to hinder their usual game preparation.

In fact, getting "stuck" in London might not be a bad thing. Not only will they not have to deal with the gross New England weather for a few days, but it means they'll have more time to see what London has to offer. It's unclear if any players will consider staying in London a little bit longer or if they'll just wait things out at the airport, but Brandon Lloyd knew immediately after Sunday's game that he might need to call an audible when it comes to his travel plans. He didn't seem too concerned about it, though.
"I was hoping we'd get stranded here all week," Lloyd joked after the 45-7 victory.
While that probably won't be the case, it's clear that Sandy is already being problematic — much more so than any Sam Bradford-led offense.
Update: The Patriots arrived safely in Boston on Monday morning, the team has announced.
