K.J. McDaniels doesn’t stink, which makes him unlike many of his Philadelphia 76ers teammates.

The rookie out of Clemson is a defensive menace and surprisingly fearsome shot-blocking machine for a 6-foot-6 swingman, as profiled by Sports Illustrated’s Rob Mahoney. He’s blocked shots so fiercely, fans are literally in peril.

No, seriously.

McDaniels blocked a shot by Toronto Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez in November so hard, he told SI, he gave a female fan a concussion when the ball struck her in the head. (McDaniels said he sent the woman flowers.)

K.J. McDaniels, folks: a threat to shooters and spectators alike.
