Joel Quenneville did his best Cam Newton impression Tuesday.
No, the Chicago Blackhawks head coach wasn’t dabbing or taking imaginary selfies or anything like that. Instead, Quenneville took a page out of Newton’s postgame playbook by storming out of a postgame news conference, though in a much more exasperated manner than Newton displayed in his much-discussed Super Bowl news conference.
Quenneville was all kinds of fired up after an apparent first-period goal for Chicago was challenged by the San Jose Sharks. After video review, the referees determined Sharks goalie Martin Jones was interfered with.

The Sharks would go on to win 2-0, but Quenneville was still steamed after the game about having that would-be first goal wiped off the board. That led to his walk-off.
You’ll probably be seeing that one in GIFs and memes for a little while.
