11:30 p.m.: Here’s an update on Russell Wilson’s sprained knee.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant left Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears briefly and went to the locker room, but returned shortly after and played the remainder of the game,  31-17 Cowboys win.

6:45 p.m.: We’ve got a couple updates with some big names and potentially bad injuries. First up: Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, whose left knee bent in a way that just isn’t supposed to happen.

Wilson initially only missed one snap, but he was later subbed out of the game in the third quarter with his team up 27-3. It seems he won’t return after being re-examined on the sidelines.

In other news, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons could miss significant time with an injury.

He wasn’t the only injured Steeler, though, as wide receiver Eli Rogers left the game as well.

Finally, Washington Redskins safety DeAngelo Hall might have suffered a torn ACL, according to reports.

3 p.m.: If you have Brandon Marshall on your fantasy team, we have good news.

2:37 p.m.: The Washington Redskins are taking some hits in their secondary, as cornerbacks DeAngelo Hall (knee) and Bashaud Breeland (ankle) both exited their game against the New York Giants and have been ruled out.

1:46 p.m.: The Cleveland Browns got an injury scare when running back Duke Johnson went down with an injury against the Miami Dolphins. He since has returned to the game, though.

11:50 a.m.: Notable running back news out of Minnesota: The Vikings have named Matt Asiata, not Jerick McKinnon, their starting back with Adrian Peterson sidelined due to injury.

11:43 a.m.: Here’s a handy roundup of some of the notable players who are in and out, courtesy of ESPN’s Field Yates:

11:38 a.m.: Some wide receiver news: Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker is active, while rookie Washington Redskins wideout Josh Doctson is inactive.

11:35 a.m.: Running back Thomas Rawls reportedly will be out for the Seattle Seahawks, meaning Christine Michael could take over the starting role.

11:33 a.m.: The Tennessee Titans will be missing two important skill players Sunday.

11:30 a.m.: Sammy Watkins officially is inactive for the Bills.

9:46 a.m.: You already knew Ameer Abdullah wasn’t playing this week, but it sounds like the Detroit Lions running back will be out for a while.

8:35 a.m.: There’s a “good chance” Brandon Marshall plays for the New York Jets against the Chiefs, according to Schefter. Here’s an early look at who’s likely in and out as of early Sunday morning:

8:30 a.m. ET: The third weekend of the 2016 NFL season is upon us, and with it comes another batch of injuries to notable skill position players.

A pair of big-name stars reportedly already have been ruled out for Week 3 —  Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter will be sidelined with a foot injury, and Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles, who still is recovering from last season’s ACL injury and won’t suit up Sunday, per Schefter.
