UPDATE (Monday, 8 a.m.): Antonio Brown injured his quad in the second half against the New England Patriots, according to Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

ORIGINAL STORY: The best wide receiver in the NFL just gave fantasy owners and Pittsburgh Steelers fans a scare.

Antonio Brown left Sunday’s 27-16 Steelers loss to the New England Patriots in the third quarter with an apparent leg injury. TV cameras caught Brownlaying down on the sidelines in what looked like a lot of pain. He stood up and walked to a training area near the bench where he was being massaged in the hip and thigh area before heading back into the locker room.

Brown wasn’t out for long, though, missing approximately one series before returning to the game. He was limited for the rest of the game, however, sitting out several plays on offense throughout the second half — though he remained the team’s primary punt returner. He only added one catch for 7 yards after returning.

The 28-year-old finished with seven catches for 106 yards and one rush for 13 yards.
