Bruins Sign Guillame Lefebvre, Waive Six Players

Before the Bruins' preseason finale against the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team announced the signing of winger Guillame Lefebvre and the waiving of six players to the AHL's Providence Bruins.

The 28-year-old Lefebvre has logged time in just 38 NHL games after being drafted by the Flyers in 2000. He was waived to Providence along with Dany Sabourin, Drew Fata, Drew Larman, Trent Whitfield and Andy Wozniewski.

Mikko Lehtonen, Jeff LoVecchio and Adam McQuaid were assigned to Providence, while Kirk McDonald has been returned to Providence.
