Given all the negative headlines in the NBA this January, commissioner David Stern wouldn’t mind some good news. Enter Paul Pierce.

The Celtics’ star is raffling off 12 tickets to his luxury suite for Sunday’s Celtics-Lakers game at the TD Garden. Not only will the raffle winner get to watch the highly anticipated game in style, but included in the prize package are food and beverage service, a pregame meet-and-greet with Pierce, an autographed jersey and a cash payment of $1,734.77 to offset the tax penalty.

Peirce's Ultimate Celtics/Lakers raffle will benefit his foundation, "The Truth Fund," and Celebrities for Charity. The Truth is No. 34's own initiative to provide opportunities for underprivileged youth by offering resources and programs that provide safe and stable environments and encourage healthy lifestyles. The raffle proceeds will directly support The Truth Fund's Paul Pierce Fit 34 Club to combat childhood obesity. Pierce began The Truth Fund in 2002 for local children in the Boston area and his hometown of Inglewood, Calif.

Raffle tickets are $2 with a minimum purchase of five. For a chance to meet the Celtics’ captain and sit in his box at the TD Garden as Boston takes on Los Angeles, click here.

There is not much time to enter. Raffle ticket sales end on Jan. 28 at 11 a.m.
