Center David Krejci enjoyed just one minute and 34 seconds of ice time in Boston's first win in three weeks as he left the contest in the first frame and didn't return with an unspecified injury.

Fellow centers Marc Savard, Patrice Bergeron and Steve Begin rotated through to fill in for the missing cog, who head coach Claude Julien is hopeful will return for Boston's next contest in Buffalo on Tuesday night.

"I can't tell you more right now but he wasn't able to finish the game, [but] we're hopeful he'll be in on Tuesday," Julien said after the 3-0 win in Montreal. "I think we'll know more probably [Monday] on that, but it's not serious right now where it's at the point where it's a question whether he'll be in on Tuesday as we speak. That could change."
