The Hartford Whalers are back in the NHL, sort of.
Hockey fans and video gamers will have the option of using the old Whalers’ green and white jerseys in EA Sports’ NHL 11, which is due to come out in September.
The Whalers jersey will be an option when playing with the Carolina Hurricanes. The Whalers moved from Hartford to Raleigh in 1997.
