Leave it to New Yorkers to give one of the classiest games some ugly press.

During the U.S. Open on Thursday night, a young fan got into a heated argument with a woman and her companion in the stands, while a match was taking place.

After unpleasantries were exchanged, the elder gentleman took matters into his own hands and a good old-fashioned brouhaha broke out.

The trio involved in the fracas were banned from the U.S. Open until 2013.
